There are parts of me
That I will never see in person
Sometimes I see my checks
Or down my nose
Or my lips if I pucker them enough
I have never seen my eyebrows
Or my chin
Or my neck
Outside of my reflection
Like a picture
Of someone I’ll never fully meet
I can twist and see some of my back
But I don’t know my spine too well
And the top of my head’s a mystery
Of course,
I am me
I feel me
I smell, and hear, and taste me
I know me
But I’ll never fully see me
If you liked it, share it!
